Graduate Town Planner – Town Planning Consultancy (Essex)

Are you a recent graduate looking to kickstart your career in Town Planning? A leading consultancy based in Essex is looking for a Graduate Town Planner to join their thriving team. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience across a diverse range of projects, with the added benefit of a clear progression path and full support towards achieving Chartered status.

Salary: £26,000 - £28,000 (depending on experience)

As a Graduate Town Planner, you will be working within a collaborative and dynamic team on a variety of exciting projects. You will receive invaluable mentorship from senior planners, helping you to develop your skills and knowledge. This role offers a clear pathway to becoming a Chartered Planner (RTPI) through support with your APC (Assessment of Professional Competence).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with planning applications and reports
  • Conduct research and analysis to support planning projects
  • Liaise with clients, local authorities, and other stakeholders
  • Help prepare site assessments, planning statements, and other documentation
  • Work closely with senior planners to develop your skills and experience

  • A degree in Town Planning (or related field)
