Are you passionate about shaping the future of our vibrant city? Do you have a keen eye for design, sustainability, and community development? My client is seeking a talented Town Planner to join their dynamic team in Central Bristol.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with local authorities, stakeholders, and communities to develop innovative planning strategies.
- Prepare and review planning applications, ensuring compliance with local regulations and policies.
- Conduct research and analysis to support planning initiatives, including environmental impact assessments.
- Engage with the public through consultations, workshops, and presentations to gather feedback and foster community involvement.
- Stay updated on the latest trends, best practices, and legislative changes in urban planning and development.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Urban Planning, Geography, Architecture, or related field.
- Proven experience in town planning or a related role.
- Strong knowledge of UK planning regulations, policies, and procedures.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
