Are you an experienced Senior Town Planner looking for a new challenge in the North West region? As a Senior Town Planner, you will play a pivotal role in the team, leading the development and implementation of planning strategies, policies, and projects. Your expertise will guide our clients through complex planning processes and ensure the delivery of high-quality outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead planning projects from inception to completion, including client management, stakeholder engagement, and regulatory compliance.
- Provide expert advice on planning policy, legislation, and best practices to internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Manage a portfolio of diverse projects, balancing competing priorities and deadlines effectively.
- Mentor and support junior staff members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development.
- Cultivate strong relationships with clients, local authorities, and industry partners to drive business growth and collaboration.
Requirements:
- Master's degree in Town Planning, Urban Design, or a related field.
- Significant experience in town planning, with a proven track record of delivering successful projects.
- Chartered Membership of the Royal Town Planning Institute (RTPI) or equivalent professional accreditation.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and project management skills.
- Strong understanding of planning legislation, policies, and procedures in the UK.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
