Structural Engineer Opportunity:
They are looking to add another Structural Engineer to the small but growing team to work on design projects. They are willing to consider good candidates at all levels of experience including recent graduates, but previous experience working for a structural engineering consultancy in the UK would be an advantage.
In particular they are looking for:
- A degree in structural/civil engineering and/or relevant professional experience working as an engineer or technician in a structural or civil engineering consultancy
- An interest in continued career development as a structural engineer including an interest in developing skills across a wide range of construction techniques and project sizes.
- Practical working knowledge of AUTOCAD, TEDDS, TEKLA STRUCTURES, QUICKSOFT and/or SAND design packages would be an advantage, particularly Tekla Structures. Competency in CAD drawing and detailing would be a significant advantage.
- Engineering design and analysis experience in the common materials steel, concrete, timber and masonry to UK building regulations would be a significant advantage.

The role will involve leading on the delivery of a wide range of projects across a variety of sectors. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the technical delivery of projects, client liaison, financial and quality management as well as supporting and monitoring junior staff. An experienced Civil Engineer with 5+ years post grad experience gained within a engineering consultancy environment in the field of highways, drainage and general infrastructure, ideally Chartered or near Chartered preferred.
A technical specialist to provide advice and support to the wider project teams, including civil design guides, standards, systems and applicable engineering codes.
The role is suitable for candidates with a background in Civil Engineering, or another related discipline, with the following attributes:
